about

The words sung here are from the Aquitanian language. A culture which built altars to evergreen oaks in present day Basque region. The opening calls represent the way that trees communicate with each other, sometimes over large distances, through networks beneath the ground.

lyrics

The words 'Artahe, Arte, Areix and Areixo' are used here. They all either mean oak tree or evergreen oak in Aquitanian, the ancient forerunner of modern Basque
